The Navy League of the United States Colorado Springs Council and O'Donnell & O'Donnell Event Organizers will co-host the annual Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance Observance on Thursday, 7 December, at 1100. It will be held in the courtroom on the second floor of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum at 215 S. Tejon Street, Colorado Springs. 

The public is invited to attend this commemorative ceremony that will honor local Pearl Harbor survivors, including James Downing, Donald Stratton, Louis Brockly, and George Blake. All Veterans from WWII will also be honored.

Mr. Jeff Greene, Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Colorado Springs, will make brief remarks. The guest speaker is Dr. Lance Blyth, Command Historian, NORAD and US Northern Command, who will discuss the attack on Pearl Harbor from a historical perspective. 

A ceremonial wreath laying will pay tribute to those from all military services who gave their last full measure of devotion on that fateful day. Widefield High School Navy JROTC will provide the color guard.
